DESCRIPTION:The Social Inclusion Facilitators Group is excited to announce the next batch of its course every Tuesday and Thursday from November 11 – 27. \nThe Social Inclusion Facilitators Group\, a cross-continent group working together to promote social inclusion. This course is being offered along with the Umoja na Usawa network. \nThe course has been running successfully for many years and\, for the first time\, went online in August–September 2024. Since then\, two groups have completed the course\, and many participants shared that it had a deep impact on their perspectives and approach to inclusion. \nWhat you will learn\n✔ Power and the power differences\n✔ Forms of discrimination & model of discrimination\n✔ Socialisation shaping our attitudes and behaviours\n✔ Systemic nature of social exclusion & different forms of oppression\n✔ Practical actions and strategies to promote positive diversity and social inclusion \nDates (2025) : Every Tuesday and Thursday from Nov 11 to Nov 27\nTimings\n6:30 pm – 9:00 pm IST
