A game based program to bring forth the biases in people decisions. The program helps participants with a tool to minimise bias in their people decisions at the workplace
One crucial detractor in the organisation’s attempt to build a culture of belonging is & “Labels”. Sensitizing various stakeholders to the consequences of using labels, for oneself and others and the harm caused to the overall ecosystem contributes to building an inclusive environment at the workplace. This 4-hour session will inspire participants to appreciate the limiting the nature of labels and finding ways to overcome them.
“Mera Wala Purple” provides a peek into this diversity of human experiences and then draws our attention to how simple generic principles can provide us guidance to create a space for intentional inclusion for ourselves and others” The session takes the participants through instances of exclusion and supporting them tools to deal with exclusion.
Biases can impact interpersonal relationships at the workplace. It also influences our decisions about people, who we hire, promote, retain, and nominate for stretch assignments, sometimes even without our knowledge. The workshop helps participants understand the origin and nature of bias, and explore ways to minimise the impact bias in situations.
Biases are human. Bias is a social stereotype one holds about certain groups of people, impacting the people-decisions. Our systemic interventions help build awareness of the biases and mitigate their impact by bringing about behavioural change and in the process furthering the inclusion agenda in your organisation.
